AMSOV Conference

AMSOV is getting excited about its next biennial conference!  It will be held April 4-7, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Here are just a few highlights that we anticipate for this conference:

♫         Conference sessions chock-full of practical how-to information for AMSOV members, including how to run education, membership, recruiting and fundraising projects, how to develop new leadership for your organization, how to be inclusive to those from minority and underrepresented communities, and many more topics.

♫         Many chances to have conversations with your fellow symphony volunteers to learn about the successes they have enjoyed in their cities and how you might take on similar projects in your own community.

♫         A concert with the Kansas City Symphony featuring the world premiere of a new cello concerto by a classical and jazz composer.

♫         Lots of opportunities to enjoy the highlights of Kansas City, including the famed Country Club Plaza restaurant and shopping area.

♫         Entertaining mealtimes including Kansas City barbeque and a sampling of Kansas City jazz.

♫         An opportunity to enjoy the company and wisdom of your many fellow symphony orchestra volunteers.
