Mission:
To ensure the continued existence of major symphony orchestras in North America through volunteerism.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS
What is more rewarding than helping with music education?
A major focus of all symphony orchestra is on "filling the seats." Building and maintaining attendance at concerts depends on an educated audience, not just children but adults, as well. As a result, many orchestra volunteer activities center around educational programs. AMSOV members can use their membership directory to contact other organizations and look at ways they operate in their communities to keep the love of music alive. Or, members may request contact information by writing to webmaster@amsov.org.
