AMSOV WEBINARS
AMSOV is committed to providing membership benefits for its members throughout the year. One way to reach our members in the times between our biennial Conferences is to host webinars in which our members can participate, listen and ask questions. We have many experts who are familiar with a variety of issues facing symphony orchestras and their volunteers. We are happy to give our members access to experts throughout our volunteer organizations and our respective orchestras who will share their knowledge and experience.
Out With the Old, In With the New
AMSOV's inaugural webinar was held November 16, 2023. It offered practical suggestions on how to self-inventory your volunteer organization to ensure practices, policies, projects and marketing approaches are still as relevant as they were 20 years ago.
Aligning Volunteer and Orchestra Goals
Our next webinar will be held in the fall of 2024. The exact date has not yet been announced. The title of this webinar will be Aligning Volunteer and Orchestra Goals. The webinar will address ways in which volunteer goals and orchestra goals sometimes differ, and will offer practical tips on how to bring the two together in a mutually constructive way so that our volunteers are serving the orchestras in the best possible manner, and still find their volunteer activity to be a rewarding one.
